Alyssa Rose Hunt Turns Lust Into Lyrics on new single Can’t Get Enough
With a voice that captivates and lyrics that pulse with raw emotion, Alyssa Rose Hunt delivers an electrifying new pop anthem, Can’t Get Enough. A sultry mix of desire, rhythm, and undeniable chemistry, the track is a confession of longing and passion. From the hypnotic countdown that pulls you into the infectious hook that lingers long after the beat drops, Alyssa’s latest single is pure exhilaration. Can’t Get Enough is the soundtrack to that irresistible connection—the rush, the craving, and the fire that won’t fade.
Alyssa’s music isn’t just about catchy beats—it’s about diving deep into the raw intensity of emotions, the feelings that surge when you can’t help but be consumed by desire. In Can’t Get Enough, every lyric drips with longing, painting a picture of someone who can’t get enough of the electric pull between them and their lover. “1, 2, 3, 4, 5, baby, you make me come alive,” she sings, setting the stage for an undeniable energy that builds throughout the track. Every number is a heartbeat, every line is a confession of the overwhelming rush she feels.
“For the Can’t Get Enough music video, I wanted to capture the bold, playful energy of the ’80s,” explains Alyssa. “After doing a ’70s-inspired video for my song Times Six, it felt natural to explore another era that has always inspired me. Growing up, I was obsessed with dance movies like Dirty Dancing and Perfect (huge John Travolta fan, by the way), and I’ve always admired his dedication to mastering dance for his roles. As an actor myself, I really connect with that journey of pushing yourself to bring a character to life. This video is about two artists chasing their dreams and finding that spark. I also wanted to bring in ’80s tech vibes—like the block phone Johnny uses to talk to his agent—reflecting how different the world was back then. The entire concept was inspired by my love for film and the way icons like Michael Jackson, Prince, and Beyoncé use storytelling in their music videos, so I really wanted to create a narrative that seamlessly flows with the song”.
Can’t Get Enough is a vivid exploration of what it means to be caught in the web of desire—where the craving never fades, where the connection only grows stronger, and where the desire is never satisfied, always needing more. Alyssa Rose Hunt’s knack for crafting mesmerizing melodies paired with bold, emotional lyrics establishes her as a powerful presence on the Canadian pop scene. With every note, she pulls you deeper into her world, a world where you, too, can’t get enough.
Your new single “Can’t’ Get Enough” has such an infectious energy. What can you tell us about the track? Was there something specific that inspired you to write it, and what do you hope listeners will take away from both musically and emotionally?
I wanted to write a song about desire — that feeling of wanting someone so much that, even when you’re together, it’s still not enough. With Can’t Get Enough, I really leaned into the fun and sensual side of that emotion. I hope listeners can enjoy that energy and connect with the feeling of craving more of someone they’re drawn to, whether it’s their partner, their secret crush, or even their pets! Honestly, some people have already started giving the lyrics a playful twist, saying they “can’t get enough” of their cats or dogs, which I absolutely love and fully support.
The music video for “Can’t Get Enough” draws heavily from ’80s dance and tech culture, with a nod to iconic figures like John Travolta. What can you tell us about the video? Were there any crazy or memorable behind-the-scenes moments you would like to share with our readers?
Oh, absolutely! When we were filming the first scene of the music video, there was this group of men in black suits sitting nearby, and black SUVs kept pulling up to greet them. I kid you not, it felt like something straight out of a movie — they seemed to know everyone who walked by on the street. I honestly thought they might be part of the mafia or involved in something shady! My team and I didn’t dare say anything since they clearly had the whole neighborhood under their watch. So, we just kept doing our thing and continued filming. I have to say, I’m sure they found our shoot just as entertaining as we found them
You are not only a singer/songwriter, but also a dancer, and actress. Triple Threat! How has your journey as a dancer and actor influenced your music, and do you see parallels between the three art forms?
Being a dancer and actor, as well as a singer, has definitely influenced my music. I love creating music that makes your body feel something — that instinct to move and just let go. And from my acting side, I’m always focused on telling a story through my songs. Whether it’s a single track or an entire album, there’s always something being expressed. I definitely see the parallels between all three art forms, and I’ll always keep blending them together to see where that creative fusion takes me.
What’s the biggest lesion you have learned so far in the music business?
The biggest lesson for me, personally, has been not to rush. Especially in today’s world, where we’re so used to wanting instant results and constantly being on the go, it can be tempting to push for everything to happen right now. But there’s something really beautiful about embracing the journey. It’s all about patience and consistency — trusting the process and allowing things to unfold in their own time.
What’s next for Alyssa Rose Hunt? Can we expect more releases from you this year?
Yes, absolutely! There will definitely be more releases this year, along with more visuals to help bring the story to life. It’s all building toward something really exciting, and I can’t wait to share it with everyone.
