On March 22, Stampede City Sessions was graced by two Canadian country artists that I’m sure you’ve heard of.

Opening the show, Drew Gregory, a country artist from Standard, Alberta, is known for his heartfelt storytelling, high-energy performances, and deep connection to rural life. With hits like “Better in a Bar” and “Till You Came Around,” he continues to resonate with fans through honest, relatable songs.

Gord Bamford is a chart-topping Canadian country artist known for his traditional sound and heartfelt hits like “When Your Lips Are So Close” and “Dive Bar.”

With over 25 CCMA Awards and multiple JUNO nominations, he’s a staple in the genre. Raised in Alberta, Bamford is also a passionate philanthropist, supporting youth through the Gord Bamford Foundation.
