Josh Ross & Zach McPhee
March 29, 2025
Commodore Ballroom, Vancouver, BC
On March 29th, Canadian country singer-songwriter Josh Ross took over the Commodore Ballroom in Vancouver for a sold-out show. The show was ahead of the Juno Awards in the city, where Ross is set to perform and is nominated for five Juno Awards. He is co-leading nominations with Tate McRae, beating out The Weeknd and Shawn Mendes with four nominations.
Opening the show was BC’s own Zack McPhee from the Okanagan Valley. He got the crowd going, playing a couple of covers, including Shania Twain’s “You’re Still The One” and “Shaboozey’s A Bar Song.”

Joss Ross played a 17-song set, mixing in a lot of his newest album Complicated, performing songs like “Complicated”, “Trouble”, “Single Again” and “Burn Back”. He also performed crowd favourites like “Red Flags”, “Ain’t Doing Jack”, “On A Different Night” and his classic cover of The Goo Goo Doll’s “Iris”. Ross proved why he is Country’s next big thing with excellent live vocals, an energetic performance, and a fresh sound.
