Last night got goofy at MTelus, with bbno$ bringing his “it’s pronounced baby no money” tour to town!
The night opened with Jungle Bobby, BC’s self-proclaimed Crusader of Love. In a big flooffy outfit, Bobby pranced around the stage to funky beats, throwing signs of PLUR (peace, love, unity and respect) at the audience, which threw them right back at him. Jungle Bobby’s set was the perfect groovy opener for the night, and got the crowd completely in the mood!
Shortly after 9pm, and after a fun video compilation of all the ways bbno$ gets mispronounced (special shoutout to “beebeenose”), Vancouver’s very own appeared onstage and jumped straight into massive hit It Boy. For the following hour and a half, Alexander jumped around the stage rapping a set full of fun and silly energy! We left the venue with as much of a smile on our face as we did after his Osheaga 2023 set, and it will without a doubt be the same when he returns to Osheaga this summer!
