Zach's Picks 904

Zach’s Picks of the Week – February 24 – March 3, 2025

Guess it’s time once again for us to explore the wonderful world of music that’s on the Internet. Welcome back to Zach’s Picks of the Week, articles that were posted here on our website, Canadian Beats Media. It’s the home to all of the best new content coming out on the Internet in my opinion. That’s why I wanted to share all of my favourites this week with you and your friends at home. Continue reading this post and you will find the links to each of these articles below. But like I said, if none of these tickle your fancy, be sure to go explore the rest of our website.  Now, let’s get right into the brand new music this week and kick it off right with Zach’s Picks Of The Week!!

Five

Our first recommended pick of the week is gonna be Canada’s dynamic Americana duo, Orchard Sky. They are starting this year off with a blazing new single, “Good Intentions” which you can find now across all streaming platforms. It blurs the lines between country-rock and R&B, an approach Orchard Sky has been honing over the past several years that has established their reputation as one of Canada’s most exciting new bands. Please be sure to check out this full article.

Four

Next up, if you think it’s too soon to be thinking about summer weddings. Ask any caterer or wedding planner, but better yet we can even ask my next recommendation, 98º. They are looking ahead to the season of love with this freshly re-recorded and digitally remastered version of their classic, “I Do (Cherish You).” Already considered a timeless classic that was a worldwide smash in 1999, the new release adds a new contemporary layer to the love song. Please have a listen to the brand new rendition, within this article.

Three

Heading into the next spot on our list we introduce Hamilton-based punk trio Takes an Army. They have brought the electrifying new single “You And Me” to all streaming platforms. It’s a high-energy track that’s packed with emotional depth, it blends melodic punk and ska influences to create a song that’s as introspective as it is infectious. Like I said, you can check it out on all streaming platforms or have a listen to it in our article, which is posted in this article.

Two

Coming up after those exciting recommendations will be the incredible Tristan Armstrong and his latest musical offering. “Queen of Diamonds” is one of nine songs on Armstrong’s debut solo album The Lonely Avenue, which will be available March 7 via. Littleknown Records. However, you can check out the brand new single on all streaming platforms right now. The Lonely Avenue is a testament to how the right alchemy leads to stunning results. Check out more in our article we have for “Queen of Diamonds”, in this article.

BONUS

Taking this week’s second top spot is gonna be Toronto’s F-105. If you ever wanna impress your lover, you should write a song about them. Which is precisely what they did on their frankly worshipful, new single “Immovable.” That song is available across all immovable streaming platforms, but singer/songwriter/guitarist Din has cooked up an ardent little promise ring of a tune. He compares the object of his affections to a host of almighty natural phenomena. You can hear the new single and check out an interview with Din in this article.

One

Now we have reached my final recommendation for this week’s list of amazing music. We introduce the debut single from Halifax band Strange Plants. The track is called “Tell Me All Your Secrets, Pt. Two,” go find it now across all streaming platforms. It is about that painful disconnection in a relationship. When someone is living a double life but refuses to admit it, even after it’s over. Enjoy this week’s number one pick of the week in this article.

Thank you for checking out these are recommendations that I deemed worthy of your entertainment. I really hope you enjoyed them because I liked listening to them as well.
