Zach's Picks 1058

Zach’s Picks of the Week – January 20-25, 2025

Welcome back to another exciting list of the best new music from around the world. This is going to be once again, Zach‘s Picks of the Week from Canadian Beats Media. My handpicked favourites were posted on our website this last week. I have chosen six articles that will be linked down below in this post for you to enjoy. But there is so much more to go explore on our website, including interviews, concert coverage and so much more. But right now we’re gonna get into the awesome list of music that I have got for you right here. This is Zach’s Picks Of The Week, let’s get it started with my first recommendation!!

Five

Let get this started with the latest single from the amazing NERiMA that’s called “Reverence.” It’s a striking reflection on the idolization of celebrities and the darker realities that often lie behind the glamorous facade. Inspired by vocalist Lexi’s personal experiences and observations, it explores the complicated relationships fans have with their idols. Find out more through this article.

Four

Coming up right after that, we’ll be the highbrow pop supergroup known as The Syncopation Rebels. They have chosen a song to put your own signature or stamp on, presenting a stunning cover of Goldfrapp’s “Number 1.” It’s guaranteed to leave you putting the song in rotation if not on a loop. Listen to it now across all streaming platforms, but a video for “Number 1” was produced by Moon Real Media and directed by Agata Waclawska. Learn more through this article.

Three

This next recommendation for the best new music is also a tour announcement. Chest Fever, the Official Revival of The Band, and alter ego of San Diego rock band Mrs. Henry. Will be kicking off their North American tour with a string of tour dates in British Columbia starting in February. They will then head back down south for their U.S. tour dates, returning to Canada at the end of March to finish the tour in Ontario and Quebec. See the full list of tour dates in this article.

Two

Runner up for the top spot this week is gonna be Back Seat Driver’s new single, “The Mountain” which is a soulful anthem about facing life’s challenges with courage and self-belief. Find it now on all streaming platforms you like to listen to music on. The new single takes listeners on a journey of resilience, culminating in an empowering musical crescendo. The band draws inspiration from personal experiences and the belief that simplicity allows for the greatest growth, a theme evident throughout their debut, self-titled EP. Check out this article to find out more about Back Seat Driver’s upcoming EP release!!

BONUS: Canadian Beats Passport

This article was posted a few weeks ago but I just had to share this international artist with you all. Darline Desca from Haiti is joining us this week with her brand new single. Some guys just don’t get the hint until you paint a picture for them. Fortunately, that’s just what Darlin is working with, a full palette of colors. The new single is called “Do Me”, available now across the stream platforms. She makes her intentions plain to a man who can’t quite seem to get with the program. The result is an overtly sexy come-on that’s tough to misinterpret, no matter what language you speak. Check out this article to learn more.

One

Now have reached my top recommendation for this week’s list from our website, Canadian Beats. It’s the latest musical offering from Brock Geiger, called “After Later” and you can hear it now on all streaming platforms. It is a meditative reflection on the nonlinear nature of understanding life’s experiences. Geiger combines introspective lyricism with minimalistic production, offering a poignant glimpse into his forthcoming album Some Nights, set for release on March 18th. Have a listen to the new single in this article.

If you enjoyed these recommendations, please be sure to share them with your friends. Otherwise, they won’t know what to listen to during their free time. These have been my picks of the week and I will be back next time with a whole new list. However, theirs so many artists and new articles to explore on our website. That’s where all of my picks of the week came from that you hopefully enjoyed. But that’s going to be it this week, check in next week for more! Spread the love and positivity in our world, PEACE, LOVE, AND GOOD MUSIC!!
