On November 25, English singer-songwriter Rex Orange County (Alexander James O’Conner) performed the first of two shows at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre in Vancouver, BC.
O’Connor explained that he wanted to do a theatre tour because it would allow him to have a more theatrical stage design, which would allow him to convey the themes of his new album, The Alexander Technique.
It provided a unique experience for fans, as the show was very intimate and interactive, with O’Conner singing up and down the aisles, greeting fans during the song “Therapy.”
The night was a blend of new songs from The Alexander Technique, such as “Guitar Song” “2008”, “The Table” and some of his classic hits “Best Friend”, “Pluto Projector” and “THE SHADE”
