Legendary instrumental prog metal band Animals as Leaders shredded their way through a seemingly sold-out Danforth Music Hall in Toronto last night. Tosin Abasi, Javier Reyes, and Matt Garstka put on a masterful display, playing The Joy of Motion from start to finish.

Australian progressive guitarist Plini, who has received Steve Vai’s stamp of approval, opened the show with some incredible riffs.
