16-year-old Carson Cameron, a grade 12 student from West Carleton, opened for Nick Carter’s “Who I Am” tour stop at Algonquin Commons Theatre in Ottawa on October 6, 2024. Carson played a set that included original songs, giving a shout-out to his mom in the audience. Carson noted this was just the beginning for him, and Nick Carter commented on Carson’s Instagram page that Carson had done an incredible job!
The theatre was packed with fans of varying age groups when Nick Carter took the stage with the Backstreet Boys’ classic “Larger than Life.” Nick took his audience through a nostalgic journey covering “Everybody Wants to Rule the World” and “Sunglasses at Night” before diving into his solo catalogue, more favourite covers, and closing things out with more epic Backstreet Boys. With a few West Coast Canadian dates remaining, you have the chance to take a trip down memory lane with Nick Carter before he takes his tour south.
