Last night, English pop singer Griff brought her Vertigo Tour to Vancouver’s Commodore Ballroom.

American artist Stephen Dawes, who gained viral fame with his 2022 cover of Katy Perry’s “Teenage Dream,” kicked off the night. He performed songs from his debut EP The Day We Met, released in 2023.

At 9 pm, Griff opened her set with the title track of her latest album Vertigo, heightened by a glowing spiral above her. Throughout the night, she connected with the crowd, even performing three acoustic songs among the audience, including a new unreleased track that she confesses having only ever performed in her bedroom before. Onstage, she showcased her versatility by switching between guitar, keys, and a vocoder, captivating the audience with her talent.

Despite her young age, Griff performed with the confidence of a veteran, and her star power continues to rise. She recently opened for Taylor Swift during the London leg of the Eras Tour at Wembley Stadium. If you haven’t heard of her yet, you soon will. Griff is touring across North America and Europe through the end of the year—more details are available on her website
