On September 28, Canadian singer-songwriter Ruby Waters brought her What’s The Point Tour to the Commodore Ballroom in Vancouver, BC.

Australian solo act, Slim Krusty, opened the night, sharing songs from his debut album Endin on a High.

At 9pm, it was time for Toronto indie rock musician Ruby Waters. Ruby hit the stage to cheers, kicking things off with “Rabbit Hole,” drawing the crowd in with soft verses before hitting hard in the chorus. The crowd really got into it during “Breathe,” especially when Ruby’s voice took over the room. The live versions of her songs hit even harder, with strong drums and vocals.
The acoustic part of her set brought a softer touch and more emotional moments. By the time the encore hit, the whole room was moving, and Ruby’s energy never dipped. She and the band kept the crowd engaged from start to finish.
Ruby’s live performance was amazing, and we can’t wait to see her in Vancouver again.

Ruby Waters will be on tour in North America until November 21 in Montreal. Find all the dates and info on her website.
