Twenty One Pilots, the Ohio duo with billions of streams and millions of fans around the world, knows how to put on an incredible show. The fan experience was crafted with so much love and care, starting with a Fan Premiere Exhibit experience before the show, which included memorabilia from all their past albums and tours, as well as behind-the-scenes looks at some of their most iconic moments. The setlist for their show was extensive and felt like a greatest hits album, lasting 2 hours, complete with mashups and songs from all their highest-streamed albums. It was clear that the band put 200% into this tour, so much so that it seemed like they would announce another hiatus after the tour is over; I hope I’m wrong about that. Unfortunately, we were not able to photograph the band.
The openers, Balu Brigada, the groovy pop duo made up of brothers Pierre and Henry Beasley, held their own playing a massive arena at such an early stage in their careers. They have an incredibly catchy sound, and I can’t wait to see their careers progress.
