A little over halfway through their tour, Austin-based band Spoon stopped by The Danforth Music Hall in Toronto for the first show of the Canadian leg of the tour.
It was a showcase of charm and powerful stage presence that only comes with decades’ worth of live performances. They played songs from their latest release, Lucifer on the Sofa, as well as tracks from their vast catalogue of 10 studio albums.
A Giant Dog, also from Austin, opened the night with a high-energy performance that certainly left an impression on everyone present.
