Montreal-based artist Claudia Bouvette opened the show Saturday night with her unique style and beautiful vocals. An accomplished actress and musician, Bouvette co-wrote and co-produced her debut album with songwriter/producer Connor Seidel in 2019, releasing her second album The Paradise Club in 2022 and single “CALL ME BACK” in 2024.
After winning a Juno for Breakout Artist of the Year in March 2024, Ottawa’s TALK (born Nicholas Durocher) brought his soulful vocals and vibrant personality to the County. Performing at Base 31 in Picton, TALK demonstrated he is a true entertainer. Shooting a t-shirt cannon into the crowd, signing a birthday hat, and even calling the mom of a bride-to-be (who brought her bachelorette party to the show) TALK commented it was a first for him. And of course, his (now signature) croc kicking into the audience! All while regaling the audience with stories about rancid chicken. TALK and his talented band performed the favourites, even adding in a special audience request and showcasing a new song he is workshopping.
