When the countdown timer hit 10 seconds to show time, the crowd was already on its feet, then emerging from backstage lit by a pure white light, Earth Wind and Fire took the stage with a commanding attitude and ran with it for an hour. Never letting people sit down, with the songs and beats running through their heads. Dancing cheek to cheek with the ballads and dancing like mad to the disco hits, topping off their set with their two biggest hits, September and Boogie Wonderland! Then, we had a chance to catch our breath.
With the first blast of the iconic Chicago horn section, you knew you were in for a night of fantastic music. From Saturday in The Park, Colour My World, Old Days, and finishing off their set with Earth Wind and Fire with an amazing rendition of Does Anybody Really Know What Time It Is? Dancing in their seats, and dancing in the aisles, everyone had a memorable time reliving over 50 years of hits !!
