Nico Paulo is a Portuguese/Canadian songwriter and visual artist who moved to Canada in 2014. After starting in Toronto, she became a key figure in Newfoundland’s music scene. Her debut LP, released in spring 2023, features lush pop arrangements exploring relationships and time. Her latest work includes the Live at First Light EP and a cover of José Afonso’s “O Cavaleiro e o Anjo,” both recorded in St. John’s with local musicians.
Throughout the weekend of July 25-28, Nico Paulo will perform at Stanfest in Canso, NS.
