Festival d’Été de Québec

WITH 50 CENT, KILLER MIKE, CONNAISSEUR TICASO
After an explosive opening night with Nickelback, we headed back to the plains for day 2 of Festival d’Été de Québec! With a lineup all over the place in terms of genre, it’s quite often that similar artists get booked in the same night. This is what happened tonight, making Friday night the hip-hop night!
We started our evening with local rap star Connaisseur Ticaso. Up next, the legendary Killer Mike (from Run the Jewels) brought an impeccable set to the stage, with a band and amazing back-up singers! Finally, around 9.30pm, 50 Cent emerged onstage in a cloud of smoke for his Quebec City debut! With a set fairly similar to last year’s The Final Lap Tour, Curtis James Jackson brought a massive production full of hits, that had the tens of thousands of people shouting along to PIMP, Candy Shop, In Da Club and many more!
