ACTORS HAVE SHARED A NEW SINGLE – “DEAD INSIDE” IS AVAILABLE EVERYWHERE NOW
Acclaimed Vancouver post-punk outfit ACTORS have released a hard-hitting and highly emotional new single. ‘Dead Inside’ is out everywhere now via Artoffact Records.
Crunchy, full of distortion, and amplified by sublimely placed bass lines, electric guitars, and cymbals, the new track echoes with resonant emotion. Centering around arguably the most human emotions of all, ‘Dead Inside’ is yet another showcase of the band’s innate ability to convert human affliction into a captivating sonic masterpiece.
Reflecting on today’s single, bandleader Jason Corbett shares:
“The recent loss of several friends and the realization of how finite our time is really had an effect on me over the past few months. That dark and sometimes anxious emotion permeates my music with ACTORS. The new single just comes right out and says it.”
At the end of March, the band shared another new single, “In Real Life,” which saw major adds including George Strombo’s ‘Strange Brew’, CBC Radio 3, Apple Music’s ‘New In Punk’, and more.
