MIINA releases new single, “Hiccup” featuring Lowell
Victoria’s Miina has unveiled a track for everyone’s summer playlist- “Hiccup”. Singer-songwriter Lowell, known for her collaborations with Beyoncé, Charlie XCX, Tate McRae, and more, joins frontwoman Laura Mina Mitic on vocals for the single. “Hiccup” is taken from Miina’s debut EP – Slow Motion– which is out now.
Evolving from the roots of the much-celebrated five-piece Carmanah, Miina worked with producer Gus Van Go to combine the best from their original sound with new inspiration and musical maturity to create Slow Motion. Inviting reflection while encouraging contentment and conviction, their debut release is about how sometimes you have to slow down in order to hear your intuition. “It’s embracing who you’ve become while honouring what it took to get you here,” explains frontwoman Laura Mina Mitic.
