Snoop Dogg brought his Cali to Canada tour to the Canadian Tire Centre in Ottawa on June 11, 2024, and it was a night to remember! Featuring a legendary lineup of acts including Merkules, DJ Quik, Warren G, and the Dogg Pound, the event drew a large and diverse crowd of young and old.
The evening kicked off with Merkules, who energized the audience with his powerful delivery and engaging stage presence.
DJ Quik then brought his West Coast beats and Eazy-E-influenced sound, captivating the crowd with his classic hits and DJ skills.
Warren G, the Regulator (another West Coast legend) took the stage next, performing his iconic tracks.
Snoop Dogg, rolled out in a cloud of smoke, and his pumped out ride and did not disappoint. His set was a perfect blend of old-school hits and newer tracks, showcasing his versatility and enduring appeal. Opening with “The Next Episode” and flowing through hits like “Beautiful,” “Nuthin’ but a ‘G’ Thang,” and “Drop It Like It’s Hot,” Snoop kept the entertainment going throughout his performance, pulling out a money gun to throw cash at his dancers and the audience. Mid-set, the Dogg Pound came out for a lengthy performance of their classic material, before Snoop returned to finish out the show in his Sens Jersey.
The production quality of the show was top-notch, with impressive visuals and a dance crew that kept the energy going all night. With the bass pumping, this show not only highlighted Snoop’s extensive catalog but also his ability to connect with the audience, making the large venue feel more intimate.
Overall, the concert was a huge success, leaving fans in Ottawa with a memorable experience.
