ALEX NICOL Premieres Studio Version Of Viral Acoustic Hit “Bridge Back To Me”
Montreal-based indie-folk singer-songwriter, Alex Nicol unveils the official version of his viral song “Bridge Back To Me” after popular demand. After uploading a live acoustic performance of this track on his TikTok account in 2022, the clip amassed over 1.2 million views and clamours for a proper studio release.
To show appreciation for his new fans, Nicol headed to Pierre Marchand studio to record an intimate version of the song that captured the magic of the live version with the fidelity of a professional audio production. This release is accompanied by a visualizer by animator Mark Neeley.
Continuing the momentum of this release and his critically acclaimed projects Been A Long Year Vol. 1 and 2, Nicol shares news about his upcoming tour dates at Canada’s most prestigious summer festivals, including opening for Half Moon Run at their inaugural L’Appel Festival at Olympic Stadium in Montreal, performing at Montreal International Jazz Fest, as well as Elora Riverfest and the legendary Mariposa Festival. This fall, he will also be supporting the UK’s House of Love who were just featured in hit Netflix drama/series “One Day”.
