On April 29, 2024, Toronto’s HISTORY pulsated with unabashed joy as the venue hosted bands The Weather Station and Belle and Sebastian.
The evening began with The Weather Station‘s enthralling blend of folk and jazz. With their recent Juno-nominated album, How Is It That I Should Look at the Stars, the band enchanted the crowd with a set of lively, saxophone-infused tracks interspersed with some slowed-down melodies from the heart.
Hailing from Glasgow, the Scottish indie pop veterans Belle and Sebastian took the stage and delivered a set of wistful yet euphoric melodies, showcasing the trademark sound that fans fell in love with from the very beginning. The venue filled with euphoric energy as the crowd danced and sang, with some lucky fans even joining the band on stage for a spirited performance of Belle and Sebastian’s beloved track, “Boy with the Arab Strap.”
Audiences will continue to dance and sing as Belle and Sebastian continue on their North American tour. More info on tour dates is available here: https://www.belleandsebastian.com/tours
