Tonight, Ottawa singer-songwriter TALK played a memorable show in Montreal! This was the first of two Montreal shows on the Lord of the Flies & Birds & Bees Tour, supporting the 2023 album of the same name. Just like when we caught him at Place Bell (opening for Milky Chance and Young the Giant) and at FEQ (opening for Imagine Dragons), Talk wore one of his signature jumpsuits, and graced the stage with his undeniable energy and charisma! His unique, powerful voice transported the audience through beautiful power ballads like How Long and Run Away to Mars. His set was fun, touching, intimate, and larger than life at the same time! It’s not surprise he won “Breakthrough Artist of the Year” at this year’s Junos, and it’s such a pleasure seeing him grow, fully knowing he’ll be filling out a bigger room like MTelus without any problem next time he comes around!
