Zach's Picks 1115

ZACH’S PICKS OF THE WEEK – APRIL 8 TO APRIL 13, 2024

It’s time once again to pour some brand-name music to be bastone upon you, and those you hold dear. These were hand-picked by me, so I welcome you to Zach’s Picks of the Week once again showcasing the best from Canadian beats. These are my recommended articles that I’ve chosen from this last week on our website. I am pretty sure you’re going to enjoy them because I have been jamming out to them and that’s why they’re in my pick of the week. You’ll be able to find the links to each of these articles in this week’s post. But there will also be a clip from each of these recommendations coming up in the video that is posted below. So I hope you are ready to share this new music with all your friends and family.

Five

Starting off our list will be a platinum-certified, multi-award-winning country artist and songwriter. It’s Dan Davison with the reveal of an official music video for his summertime anthem, “Won’t Forget”. Joining forces with fellow Canadian heavy-hitter Tim Hicks and one of Australia’s most promising rising stars Max Jackson. The Canadian portion was shot and directed by Travis Nesbitt and filmed at Dept. 9 Studios in Edmonton. Available across all streaming platforms now, plus the official video is posted in our article right here.

Four

Moving along down the list of the best new music, it’s time to introduce Rebecca Mason also known as r.mason, and the new single “Velvet Shade”. It’s available across all your favourite streaming platforms and can be heard in the article we have posted. But she is in quite a musical career already, starting her songwriting journey at the age of four. Perfecting her craft, you can learn more about this incredible artist with our article here.

Three

Next, we have a Five Questions With segment posted on our website with Robbie Teehan, also known as Gentle Sparrow. He has two musical degrees and a wealth of experience in the industry. He has scored award-winning films and collaborated on hit TV dramas, but now delivering his latest EP River to You. The album’s creation was inspired by Robbie diving deeply into a personal journey. Be sure to go check out Gentle Sparrow’s brand new EP on streaming platforms now, and within the article right here.

Two

This week’s runner-up for the top spot will be Edmonton’s very own Draemus, who re-immerged onto the scene with a fresh identity and captivating new sound. He’s unveiled the new single, “Space Worms” infiltrating listener’s eardrums across all streaming platforms now. It’s a unique blend of alternative and electronic music that will surely have you drifting into space. Be sure to go check out this incredibly creative song and the video in our article that is posted just right here.

BONUS: Canadian Beats Passport

This is going to be our international artist to be featured this week for the Canadian Beats Passport bonus recommendation on Zach’s Picks Of The Week. Welcome Indie rock band, Nico Vega from Los Angeles with their brand new and first new song since 2018 called “$5”. On top of that exciting announcement, they are also excited to be joined by original member, Michael Peña on bass. You probably have Peña on your TV screen if you see such projects as Narcos: Mexico or Marvel’s Ant-Man movies. But now with the band all back together, this was only the first song to be released from an upcoming Epand-produced album Make It Out Alive. Check out the article we have linked here.

One

Taking this week’s number one spot for the best new music in my eyes, will be Toronto-based multi-platinum artist and producer elijah woods. Recently he dropped his new, 3 track EP “silver lining” on all music playing sites. Featuring his hit single, “losing a friend” and two brand new songs. The record is emotionally raw and profoundly introspective. It delves into the complexities of human relationships and the tumultuous journey of self-discovery. Go and have a listen to all three of these songs within our article right here.

Those have been my top choices from our website for the best new music around. Thank you so much for checking out all of this week and I hope you enjoyed them and maybe share them with your friends. Because this music is meant to be shared with everybody. However, if you don’t like any of these recommendations, you’re more than welcome to explore the rest of our website. There is plenty more content every single day, I just decided to use the top six. So go explore everything that we have to offer. However, thank you so much for checking out the music and I will be back next week with more recommendations. This has been Zach’s Picks Of The Week and as always PEACE, LOVE, AND GOOD MUSIC!!
