Dan Davidson drops his official music video for “Won’t Forget” with the single spinning at radio stations in Canada and Australia
On April 2, PLATINUM-certified, multi-award-winning artist and songwriter Dan Davidson unveiled the official music video for his summer anthem “Won’t Forget” featuring fellow Canadian heavy-hitter Tim Hicks and one of Australia’s most promising rising stars Max Jackson. The Canadian portion was shot and directed by Travis Nesbitt and filmed at Dept. 9 Studios in Edmonton.
The video for “Won’t Forget” was shot across two continents and it showcases the synergy between the artists while capturing the essence of the track’s vibrant vitality, brimming with dynamic guitars, banjos, and infectious gang vocals capturing the essence of seizing each day with its irresistible, feel-good optimism and encapsulating the energy of summer festivals.
Davidson says,
“Well, this one was a challenge. One of collaborators (Max Jackson) lives all the way down in New South Wales, Australia. Not exactly convenient for her to pop by the studio for a couple quick shots …
BUT! Thanks to the magic of modern technology and some clever editing, we came up with this gem! It would have been a real blast to have her in the room with us though … Tim Hicks flew out from Ontario for the shoot, and I’m pretty sure we spent just as much time drinking margaritas and eating tacos as we did shooting the video. A good day at the office.”
The single “Won’t Forget,” was released on March 22 and has been making major waves since its release and has become one of the most-added tracks at Canadian country radio as well as garnering widespread attention in Australia. It also continues to surge in streaming numbers.
