Between the Bridges – 2024 JUNOFest performers, venues announced

With the 2024 JUNO Awards less than a month away, it’s time for Halifax to get excited for JUNOfest Presented by CBC Music.

Spanning two nights, 10+ venues throughout Halifax and Dartmouth, and over 100 performers, JUNOfest will showcase talent, of all genres, from across the country. The first round of performers announced includes BAMBII, Begonia with special guest Leith Ross, Dave Sampson, Good Lovelies, Haviah Mighty, Jah’Mila, Logan Staats, Mistress Barbara, Myst Milano, Quake Matthews, Rêve, Shawnee Kish, Skratch Bastid, Softcult, The East Pointers, and TOBi.

Venues for JUNOfest include Hide + Seek, Pacifico, ROX LIVE, Sanctuary Arts Centre, St. Matthew’s United Church, The Carleton, The Local, The Loft, The Marquee Ballroom and The Seahorse Tavern.

In a statement, Allegra Swanson, Chair of the 2024 Halifax JUNO Host Committee, says

“It’s amazing to see the first crop of artists representing so many genres of music.

JUNOfest will light up the city with local musicians from Nova Scotia and across the Atlantic region alongside myriad national acts on every stage and showcase the incredible talent of this community to fans and industry alike.”

The announcement JUNOfest follows the previously announced events, JUNO Comedy Show Presented by SiriusXM Canada, which will spotlight this year’s JUNO nominees for Comedy Album of the Year, as well as Junior JUNOS Presented by Halifax Public Libraries, which will welcome families to celebrate this year’s JUNO nominees for Children’s Album of the Year.
