Starting things off, we have the incredible indie singer-songwriter based in Brandon Manitoba. Doug MacNaughton is back with his latest single, “Energize,” available now on all music sites, and is the fifth release from his highly anticipated album Old Enough To Know Better. This album is also available now check out the new single here.

Moving along we have the latest single to be released called, “Bleed” from Western Canadian Alt-rock group Vogue Villains. You can find it available now across all streaming platforms and you can also read our single review of the new track. The single follows the success of their previous two singles, “Floatin’ Stone” and “Wrong Side of Midnight”, but hopefully means more on the way. Check out our review and learn more about the band here.
Three
A very special recommendation this week has some pretty noteworthy success in his long-running career. Whether he’s the. frontman of PLATINUM-selling rock band Default or consistently winning multiple CCMA awards for Entertainer of the Year. British Columbia-based country superstar, Dallas Smith, now making his debut in the USA with his self-titled and fifth studio album. You can listen to all 12 tracks of songs on all your favourite stream platforms, and in the article right through here.
Two
This next group hails from Pembroke, Ontario, and has just released their first single from their forthcoming sophomore EP. The new track “Never Enough”, from Canadian electro-pop duo Choirz, is available on all streaming platforms now. The track explores the depths of human emotion, unveiling a rich tapestry woven with the threads of love, loss, yearning, and the profound sense of emptiness and disconnect. As I said, be sure to check it out on all your favourite streaming platforms, plus you can see the new video in this interview article here.
BONUS: Canadian Beats Passport
The next recommendation is going to be our bonus pick of the week. This is going to be an international artist who was featured on Canadian Beats Passport. So let me welcome the musical sensation that’s all the way from Florence, Italy, it’s Leonardo Barbadoro. He was formerly known by his electronic alias “Koolmorf Widesen”, but is an Italian musician & producer. This versatile composer has recently released his highly anticipated album, Musica Automata A unique LP comprised of orchestral music performed entirely by robots, so check it out now on all streaming platforms. Also, I recommend you check out this article which features Leonardo‘s new single here.

Now, it’s time for my final choice this week here on our list of new incredible music. Recently we had a Five Questions With segment featuring the very talented Canadian indie artist leMeow. We get to know her just a little bit and we get to hear her new haunting single, “Ghost Heart”. It’s available now across all streaming platforms and promises to be a spellbinding musical journey into the supernatural. Where leMeow’s enchanting vocals and captivating melodies take center stage.
