The Beaches, Beach Weather
October 28th, 2023
MTelus, Montreal, QC
We got a double-dose of beach tonight, with The Beaches and Beach Weather playing in Montreal!
The North Dakota pop-rock band Beach Weather opened the evening, with an impressive stage setup including palm trees and shag carpets! The vibes were very much giving surfer band, a much needed dose of sunshine as Montreal weather started cooling down for Halloweekend! Lead singer Nick Santino swooned the crowd, with his crooner vibes reminiscent of Arctic Monkeys’ Alex Turner!
Shortly after 9pm, The Beaches appeared onstage to a thunder of applause. After a few shows at the Corona Theater over the years, it was nice to see them upgrade to a larger audience at MTelus! The Toronto pop quatuor brought all the good vibes for this show, touring their latest album Blame My Ex. On a more minimalist stage than the opener, but a beautiful light setup, Jordan, Kylie, Leandra and Eliza rocked the place down, showing that women do it better, and reinforcing themselves as rising stars of Canadian rock!
The Beaches‘ Blame My Ex Tour will be heading to a lot more Canadian cities over the next few weeks, click here for tickets and more information!
