On Sunday night, Irish musician, singer and songwriter Hozier brought his Unreal Unearth tour to a sold out Rogers Arena in Vancouver, BC.
LA-based folk-rock musician Madison Cunningham joined Hozier as the opening act. She created the perfect atmosphere for what was to come.
Shortly after, Hozier took to the stage illuminated by thousands of star-like lights in the background. He started the show with “De Shelby (Part 1)” (sung in Gaeilige) and “De Shelby (Part 2)”, the same tracks that begin his latest album “Unreal Unearth”. This album, released in August 2023, is inspired by Dante’s “Inferno” and the concept of the nine circles of Hell. The set matched the structure of the album, helped with impressive graphics, live shots and lighting displays.
He performed a mix of new songs and older fan-favourites like “Take Me To Church” and “Cherry Wine”. He ended the night with “Work Sing” joined by Madison Cunningham for a beautiful duet.
Hozier will end his North American tour on November 4th in Hollywood before jumping over the pond with plenty of European dates.
