Danko Jones and his power trio’s “Shake Your City” tour made a stop in Waterloo ON before the tour heads to Europe. Touring in support of their new album Electric Sounds the incredibly high-energy performance was what the crowd was after. Danko Jones is a favourite of the Maxwell’s crowd. The band has been active since 1996 and shows no sign of slowing down!

Canadian band Mountain Head who classify their sounds as “blended psych-rock, alt-rock, and elements of electro-pop and jangle pop into a unique and potent sonic concoction” got the Thursday crowd ready for Danko Jones.

Local band Avalon Stone and their grunge-infused alt-rock performed a high-energy set to start the evening.
