Welcome back once again for some incredible new music from across our amazing country. This website always has to provide you with the best in my opinion at least. This is Zach’s Picks Of The Week from all of the amazing articles that were posted here on Canadian Beats. You’ll be able to find a link to each of these articles below in this post. But you should watch the video we have posted, to listen to all of my recommendations. If you don’t enjoy any of these choices, feel free to check out the rest of the website but stick around until the end, because I guarantee there will be something you like to listen to. So let’s kick it off right now here on another music Monday with Zach’s Picks Of The Week and number five!
Five
Beginning our list we have Quebec City-based The Blaze Velluto Collection making their way to your screens with their new album, What’s On Your Mind?. The record is available across all streaming platforms now via. Duprince Records. We interviewed the band and debuted their brand new video for “Aligned” off their new record last week. Moving on, we have an artist, weaving childhood wonder into musical fun for the whole family. Land Heart Song is an artist from the Mount Albert, Ontario area who’s debuting her new song “Green Leaf” for all to hear! This song will be coming off her full-length album, Songs for Tree which will be released on October 27th. I encourage you to go and check out this interview, with Land Heart Song and her latest single “Green Leaf” here.
Three
At this week’s number three spot, we have an Edmonton hip-hop artist known as Arlo Maverick. Here to share his brand new video for the song “Day Ones”, which you can find available across all streaming platforms now. This is the song of appreciation for the people in his life, who have supported him since the beginning of his musical journey. It will be appearing on his forthcoming album Blue Collar, which is scheduled to drop on October 20. Be sure to check out this interview we conducted with Arlo here.
Two
This week’s second top spot will be going to the latest from Nova Scotia’s Jolene Harnish. She was born into a family of musicians and has been performing and entertaining since early childhood. Recently she unveiled her second single called “Blueberries,” which will be coming off her upcoming EP, coming out in early 2024, but be sure to go check out her new songs across all your favourite streaming platforms. Well, my next recommendation is definitely used to being number one and it’s no different because he’s number one on my list this week. After more than a decade since his last solo release, Brian Melo, winner of Canadian Idol Season 5 in 2007, and a Gold-certified artist is back! His latest single is called “Middleman” and is accompanied by a video in the release. The video can be found in our article and you can find the single on all your favourite streaming platforms.
