Victoria, British Columbia-based guitarist and songwriter, Tyler James Johnson has been playing music since the age of 12 after hearing his father’s record collection.
Tyler’s first experience in the music scene was in 2012 in Edmonton, Alberta. Since then, he has performed as a frontman and sideman with multiple artists and bands. Currently, Tyler can be seen performing in a local band (“Second Fiddle”) as well as a solo artist in Victoria, BC.
Having an eclectic taste in music Tyler draws influence from various genres and has spent many years as a pub & lounge musician playing anything from Folk, Rock, Blues, Country, Celtic, Traditional, Pop, etc.
His EP, Songs for Everyone was released on August 31 and was recorded at Neighborhood Recorders by Musician, Engineer, and Producer Leeroy Stagger in Victoria, BC.
