Don Amero, a JUNO and CCMA Award-nominated artist, has released his latest EP Six
On September 18, country artist Don Amero dropped his new EP, Six, via MDM Recordings Inc. / Universal Music Canada that includes the previously released high-octane single “Ain’t Too Late” and “Go Girl’ which offers a unique narrative surrounding the dissolution of a relationship. The title is a nod to the contents of the EP, as it includes six multi-dimensional songs. Working with producers Danick Dupelle, Murray Pulver, and Bart McKay on the collection, Amero effortlessly showcases his engaging storytelling ability with a song for every listener and every type of mood.
Also included on the EP are four new tracks that offer something for the tastes of every type of music lover. From the raw and vulnerable lyrics in “Can’t Fix This,” to reminiscing on romance with a classic country feel in “What It Was,” the honest advice about life from a parent to their children in “If I Don’t” and the nostalgia-infused and care-free “Wheels Off” which is impacting at radio now.
About focus track, “Wheels Off,” Amero shares,
“Between a career, kids, bills and everyday life challenges, it’s hard to take time for yourself and the ones you love. My wife and I have felt the stress of this over the years and try to remember to take time for us. You may not always get it right, but I promise it’ll never feel wrong if you get out and get your wheels off the city roads and find a dirt road to a little get away.”
