Good Lovelies Present “Keep Moving” Video From We Will Never Be The Same Out Oct 6th
Good Lovelies presents the video for their new single, “Keep Moving,” taken from We Will Never Be The Same, out on October 6th via Outside Music.
We Will Never Be The Same explores the entry into middle life. There is power and strength in this album; a story of lives well-lived and you can hear the seventeen years Caroline Marie Brooks, Kerri Ough & Susan Passmore have spent singing and writing together.
Where there is heartache, and heartbreak, endings and beginnings, there is joy, beauty, and overcoming the slings and arrows of life through the power of friendship, love, and family. It is this richness of life, and the wide-ranging spectrum of emotions that surface from moment to moment that permeates the record- something that is beautifully exemplified by their new single “Keep Moving” which was written by Susan Passmore, Caroline Marie Brooks, Kerri Ough and songwriter Robyn Dell’Unto.
Speaking on the track Passmore says,
“The momentum of Keep Moving’s pop-leaning production motivates us to push on. Even through the worst, when you can’t tell which way is up, keep moving. Choose to persevere, take it one step at a time, and have faith that there’s light at the end of the tunnel.”
Working with the producer team of Joshua Van Tassel and Christine Bougie (who both also performed on the album), We Will Never Be The Same was written and produced in cottages across Canada, including a cottage owned by the legendary broadcaster/author Stuart McLean. The record was finessed and finalized at Toronto’s Union Sound.
Renowned for delighting audiences with the lilting, soaring, and evocative harmonies, charm, and sharp sense of humour, the trio will be touring across Canada this fall.
