On Friday night, Hip-Hop legend 50 Cent celebrated the Get Rich or Die Tryin’ 20-year Anniversary by bringing his Final Lap Tour to a packed Rogers Arena in Vancouver, BC.
50 Cent brought two opening acts with him: Jeremih, and rap icon Busta Rhymes, who both pumped the fans for the main act.
Kicking off his set, 50 Cent made his stage entrance by appearing within a glass cage full of fog and fireworks going off behind him. He began with “I’m On Some Sh*t,” “What Up Gangsta” and “I Get Money.” The setlist showcased his biggest hits like “In Da Club” or “Candy Shop” and the crowd sang along with him.
The stage setup had an impressive production design with large screens that created an immersive experience replicating the atmosphere of NYC, and pyrotechnics/confetti going off throughout the night.
The Final Lap tour continues in various Canadian cities in the next few days with a final stop in Toronto on September 22nd.
