Toronto Band The Blues Emergency Unveils New Single, “A Love Revolution”

“A Love Revolution” is the latest single from Toronto-based blues-rock band, The Blues Emergency. A “high-energy, fist-pumping, sing-along rock juggernaut”, the song is a statement of love, unity, and peaceful protest. Since its release, the single’s accompanying video has already reached over 15k views.

The band shares,

It all started with a guitar riff that our guitar player Emir had for some time in his back pocket. He presented the riff to myself (Andy, the singer) and we quickly got to work on the song by sending recorded ideas back and forth via email from our home studios . After arranging and recording the song in our home studios produced by Emir & I, we sent the track off to Pete Swann of Attitude Productions for mixing who did an amazing job in bringing the song to life. Then forward it over to Noah Mintz of Lacquer Channel Mastering who in turn put his magic to work.

Care to introduce yourself to our readers?

We are a rock / heavy blues band playing original songs based out of Toronto, Canada. We’ve been playing together since 2010. Our sound is hard, cranked-up rock steeped in blues with socially conscious lyrics. We released our 1st album in 2017, titled The Machine. Our latest release is called “A Love Revolution.”

Tell us a bit about your most recent release.

A Love Revolution is a high-energy, fist-pumping sing-along rock juggernaut that makes you want to put the top down, crank the volume up to 11, and hit repeat! With its heavy drive and raspy powerful vocals, in the spirit of Guns N’ Roses, Stone Temple Pilots, or Rival Sons, “A Love Revolution” packs a heavy punch while delivering a powerful message of love and unity.

Where do you tend to pull inspiration from when writing?

Inspiration usually comes from real-life experiences, lyrically in particular, but it can also come from a dream, another song, or a spontaneous jam. Inspiration is all around us and we feed off each other to create memorable tunes.

Do you have any upcoming shows you’d like to tell us about?

Our next show is on September 15th, at 8:00 pm at the legendary Gussapolooza festival.

What’s your goal for this year?

Our goal is to release another single and a video by the year-end, continue writing more tunes, grow our fan base along with our social media presence, and prepare for a European tour next year.
