Folk-pop singer-songwriter Noah Kahan brought his Stick Season Tour to the Doug Mitchell Thunderbird Sports Centre on August 16, 2023.
The show was opened by Joy Oladokun, a folk/pop singer-songwriter from Arizona. Her incredible raw vocals and intricate guitar riffs captivated the audience as she performed a set of original songs as well as a cover of Elton John’s “Rocketman”.
Noah Kahan then took to the stage enveloped in the cheers of dedicated fans. His set included hits such as “Stick Season” and “Dial Drunk” as well as mellow acoustic songs and older fan favourites.
