Peanut Butter Sunday Releases New Track “Ma tête” Alongside Deluxe Edition Of Their Debut EP
After being tapped to open for Green Day on the Plains of Abraham at the Festival d’Été de Québec last month, Peanut Butter Sunday releases a Deluxe Edition of their debut EP, Quoi-ce y’a pour souper?.
Alongside remastered versions of the tracks from the original EP (“Howard,“ “Soleil,“ “Mes chums,“ and “C’est la vie”), Quoi-ce y’a pour souper? (Deluxe Edition) features “Ma tête” – a previously unreleased track, available now.
To mark the occasion, Peanut Butter Sunday also unveils a brand new music video for the song capturing the band in full playful goof mode.
Directed and edited by Nova Scotian filmmakers Jeff Miller and Charlie Benoit, the video for “Ma tête” features the band taking up one of their famous pastimes: golf. This, however, is not your average game. Dressed in their (now notable) flame uniforms, the Acadian punks bring their attitude, their golf carts, and, of course, their beer to a private course in Clare, Nova Scotia.
Michael Saulnier shares,
“I would say it’s beaucoup satisfying that after playing ‘Ma tête’ hundreds of times at live shows, we finally get to hear the best possible version of the tune. I’m méga fier of the end result, and psyched that people can see what PBS can really do.”
