Tonight, Lionel Richie brought his Sing Along All Night Long tour to a packed Bell Center!
The evening started with Funk-Jazz legends Earth, Wind & Fire, who brought the groovy feel-good vibes to get the crowd hyped. They had everyone dancing on their feet for classics Boogie Wonderland and of course September!
With the show running a little behind schedule, Lionel Richie made a show-stopping appearance onstage around 9.40pm. He kicked things into high gear with Hello, from the end of a long catwalk. From there, he played hit after hit, with a big production complete with massive screens and CO2 (who would’ve thought)! From the beautiful Easy Commodores cover, Endless Love and Say You, Say Me, that had the crowd swaying along, to his more upbeat hits like Dancing on the Ceiling, the American singer showed how it’s done, never letting his age stop him, as he pranced around the stage like a young man rather than a 74 years old! Tonight was a masterclass in showmanship, ending on a high note with the ultra-catchy All Night Long!
