James Blonde’s “Miss You” Is Bursting with Retro Rock Flavours
Niagara’s JAMES BLONDE is bursting with flavour on the new light-hearted single “Miss You”, now streaming everywhere! Reminiscent of artists like The Black Keys, Mother Mother, and The Beatles, James Blonde shows the world what this trio is made of, drawing on everything we love about pop rock and modern alternative rock. “Miss You” appears on the band’s upcoming sophomore album, Chameleon out September 8th.
“’Miss You’ is a love song to our past selves. It is musically inspired by the contemporary slow grooves of bands like The Black Keys and Arctic Monkeys. Neil, bassist & singer on this single, wrote the lyrics lamenting his innocence and simpler times, he calls out for his past self; his true self. We all miss something about our past. We all turned out differently than we expected. Life can be harder than anyone can prepare you for. ‘Miss You’ is James Blonde’s 6th single off the upcoming Chameleon LP,” explains the band.
Already having sold out shows in their hometown of Niagara earlier this year, James Blonde is gearing up for a massive, 22-date, North American tour this fall. It kicks off this month at Shake The Lake in Muskoka, presented by 89.1 Max FM, and will wrap up in Windsor, Ontario in November. Get tickets here.
