The Kingston Trio is an American folk and pop music group that helped launch the folk revival of the late 1950s to the late 1960s.
The group started as a San Francisco Bay Area nightclub act with an original lineup of Dave Guard, Bob Shane, and Nick Reynolds.
With many members through the years, the group continues with members, Mike Marvin (Nick Reynolds adopted son), Tim Gorelangton, and Buddy Woodward.
The Kingston Trio is set to play Stan Rogers Folk Festival in Canso, Nova Scotia on Sunday, July 23 on the main stage.
