StanFest ZOOMIES – Dave Gunning

Nova Scotia-based folk musician Dave Gunning is no stranger to the music scene, with fourteen albums to his credit, and he’s just getting started.

Dave unveiled his latest album, The Same Storm in October 2022. Written and recorded mostly at home during the pandemic, the album continues along a similar path its predecessors walked – celebrating moments big and small, lending a voice to the folks that need it most, and indulging in a bit of nostalgia on the way. But always with an eye toward the future and the stories it will bring.

Dave is set to play Stan Rogers Folk Festival on Saturday, July 22 at the Queensport Stage for the Sing For A Chance showcase, the Remembering Gordon Lightfoot show at the Main Stage, and the Balladeers Showcase on the Queensport Stage. On Sunday, July 23, he’s at it again at the Queensport Stage for Our Own Way showcase, and the Singing Stan concert at the Main Stage.
