No Internet Isn’t Going To Stop Zach Coopz From Sharing Music

What’s going on everybody? Welcome back to Zach’s Picks Of The Week, Wi-Fi-less edition! I am still without the Internet, but I still want to share some new music with you all.

I will be featuring my top six recommendations, which will include one international group. That’s right, we don’t just showcase Canadian talent. We are also talking about everybody from around the world. The links to each of these posts can be found below in this article.

That being said, I really really recommend you go and explore the rest of our website because there is so much stuff getting posted every week, it’s insane! But for now, let’s check in and see what I have favoured this week from Canadian Beats. These are Zach’s Picks Of The Week!

Five

Starting us off is a band that takes great pride in weaving together cinematic stories set to orchestral melodic death metal. Canada’s very own Vortex is prepared to whisk you away to a bleak world that is recovering from a devastating cataclysm in the latest album, The Future Remains In Oblivion. You can listen to it when you visit our Five Questions With segment with Vortex, here.

Four

Moving on to the next artist on our list, Woolwich-based folk singer Carla Muller has unveiled her latest single that reflects the major sacrifice the kids these days had to take for the greater good during the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown. The single “The Last Two Years,” recognizes and pays tribute to the men’s strings and resilience displayed by those young souls. Take a listen to it in our article where we have interviewed Carla Muller, just right through this link here.

Three

Coming right up after that, the west and east coasts collide together with this collaboration. Emerging Vancouver hip-hop pop creator B00sted teams up with Montreal R&B artist Myles Lloyd for the release of “Used To Love You”. This sorrowful slow jam furthers B00sted’s descent into romantic misadventure as his vocals ache for answers from a relationship growing distant. Have a listen to this song across all streaming platforms and you can listen to it in the article here.

Two

Who is looking for a loud country song to add to your summer playlist!? Canadian country artist Jaimey Hamilton is thrilled to share her new single, “Stompin’ Ground” across all streaming platforms. It was written by Hamilton and Juno-nominated songwriter Scotty Hills and was produced by Chris Eriksen, who also helmed some of Hamilton’s most recent singles. Go have a listen to it and read our single review here.

Bonus: Canadian Beats Passport

For this week’s Canadian Beats Passport international coverage, I’d like to introduce you to the British duo, Jungle. Who have shared another fantastic song from their upcoming album VOLCANO with the new track “I’ve Been In Love” featuring Channel Tres. Between just these two previously released singles “Candle Flame” and “Dominoes”, they received huge radio streaming support. Go and listen to my international choice this week Jungle, in our passport article, here.

One

Last, but not least we’ve got a sound that seamlessly blends, folk-rock with modern soul. It’s got something for every music fan to love about this week’s number one choice, singer/songwriter Matt Zaddy. His latest single “What Came About” was the result of getting back in the studio with Emmy award-winning and Juno-nominated producer Ross Citrullo. I highly recommend you go listen to my number one choice this week here.

Those are gonna be my amazing recommendations for this week. Be sure to tune in next time to see what my top six recommendations are going to be and also explore the rest of our website for more.  This place is chock-full of new music to soak up every single day, concert coverage, and interviews. However, this is going to include everything I have for you this week. I will be hopefully back in video form next Music Monday. As long as the powers that be bring us internet. I’ll still see you back here next time with more new music. Be sure to keep spreading the love and positivity in this world and for now, I’ll leave you with PEACE, LOVE, AND GOOD MUSIC EVERYONE as always!!
