Festival d’été de Québec
Day 3: July 8th, 2023
with Jessie Reyez, White Reaper, Starcrawler
Following an action-packed night with Imagine Dragons, Festival d’été de Québec is still going strong for Day 3 of the festival!
We started our evening over at the Bell Stage with a pure rock and roll line-up. First up, LA glam rock band Starcrawler brought some strong pop punk vibes to the stage. Lead singer Arrow de Wilder commanded the stage as she thrashed her androgynous figure around, pulling all the stops and finishing the set surfing in the crowd!
Up next, Kentucky’s White Reaper took another direction and gave a performance that made the audience feel like they were in on an intimate yet explosive garage punk session. While frontman Tony Esposito took the stage front and centre, each band member did their fair share of punk antics on stage, making for an upbeat performance.
While the main stage saw Foo Fighters’ grand return to Quebec unfold as an epic headlining set, we headed over to the Parc de la Francophonie to check out Toronto’s very own Jessie Reyez! This isn’t the singer’s first time closing out a Quebec festival (example: Osheaga 2021), and her set was a flaming success full of pep and positive vibes!
