Toronto, ON-based country singer-songwriter, Kelsi Mayne took some time away from music during the pandemic, to dust off her nursing degree on the frontlines.
Her latest release from 2020, “SOS” is the only song on her album, As I Go that she wished she had written, but that’s not the case. The track was written by Emma Lee, Chrystal Leigh, and Tiffany Goss, but she related to it immediately.
She’s back in the music scene and ready to release more music, but before that, she’s set to play the Neon & Denim Country Showcase, presented by Dave Woods of In The Country With Dave Woods. The showcase takes place on July 15th at Rivoli in Toronto, and if you’re in the area, it’s not to be missed.
*Editors Note* We had a few technical difficulties, as you will hear small glitches in some of her answers, such as when she says she’d add Kelly Prescott to the showcase if she could, and when mentioning writers of the track “SOS.”
