Jungle Release New Track ‘I’ve Been In Love’ Featuring Channel Tres + Tour Dates
Jungle shared another taste of their upcoming album VOLCANO with the new track “I’ve Been in Love,” which features Channel Tres (‘Topdown’, ‘Controller’). It follows a big reaction to the British production duo’s recent singles “Candle Flame” (featuring Erik The Architect) and “Dominoes.” Between the two tracks, Jungle earned huge Radio 1 support (a playlist, Arielle Free’s Tune of the Week and Sian Eleri’s Hottest Record) as well as further airplay from Radio 2, Radio 5, 6 Music (playlisted), Apple Music 1 and Radio X.
Having found a kindred spirit in the shape of the similarly adventurous self-described Compton house artist Channel Tres, “I’ve Been in Love” captures Jungle’s euphoric vibe in all the best ways, whipping up a sleek mix of funk, disco, soul, and hip-hop. It’s completed by Channel Tres’s vocal, which flows seemingly effortlessly from the baritone of his half-spoken laidback rhymes to brighter melodic moments before the radiant hook kicks in.
The accompanying visual opens with a tongue-in-cheek introduction before unveiling a more intimate one-room take on the ambitious single-shot choreography that Jungle’s videos are renowned for. It’s unmistakably the creation of directors J Lloyd and Charlie Di Placido of Contentus Maximus.
This summer will see Jungle perform to a total of more than 190,000 people, starting with a landmark London festival headline set at All Points East. They will then take their joyful, full-live band show across America and Europe on a tour that includes numerous arena dates.
