Toronto, ON-based artist Alex Exists has unveiled his debut solo album, Everybody’s Famous.
The eight-song release features previous singles, “Dancing With Chaos,” “With A Bang,” and “Believe The Hype.”
Everybody’s Famous is an album that encourages listeners to navigate the chaos and complexity of life with a mindful and critical perspective, to resist being controlled or deceived, and to find solace and empowerment in embracing their own unique perspectives and experiences.
“Everybody’s Famous is a unique set of stories about the complex and often absurd nature of human behavior, and the need to express our truth and full potential. The tension between these themes fuels the energy and vibe of the album, which blends rebellious, grungy, glammy, punky, and psychedelic sounds.
With this album, I aim to inspire listeners to navigate the complex social dynamics that shape our lives, and to never stop striving for something better. The message is clear: we have the power to change what we don’t like and the obligation to improve life for each other or else risk being trapped in the warped reality that these songs illustrate.”
To further celebrate the release of his debut record, Alex will be performing an album release show at Bar Cathedral on July 13 in Toronto. It will certainly be a show not to miss as Alex will bring Everybody’s Famous to life through his various music videos that will be on display at the venue, while playing the record live.
