Indie Pop Band Ivytide Release New Single “brokeboy” & Announce Upcoming Shows
Ivytide has released “brokeboy”, capturing the push and pull of a relationship; feeling loved at one moment but dejected at the next. Reminiscing about their early experiences together, the protagonist feels attached to their partner, but can’t help feeling tied down and jaded about the way they’ve been treated. The song expresses what remains unsaid in a relationship, telling one’s partner what is needed and what one is struggling with. Ivytide’s “brokeboy” blends their signature indie pop sensibilities with elements of their evolving singer-songwriter stylings.
Their latest single arrives on the heels of their European tour (UK, Germany, France) and will be supported next by seven Canadian shows, which started with Toronto on June 8.
