Time to bring you the best new music that is featured here on the website, Canadian Beats Media! What’s up Canada?! Welcome back to Zach’s Picks of the Week, where I present you six of my favourite songs of the week. They have all been featured here, in articles or a post on the website. If you don’t like my chosen songs, be sure to go and explore the rest of our website for the best music online. I should also mention you will get a chance to listen to all of the songs in this week’s video, which is posted below. I encourage you to go through the links that are in this post to all of these amazing articles. Alright, now let’s get into what we came for, the new music on Canadian Beats Media.
Five
Beginning this week’s list is going to be the Regina-based rock band, Arcana Kings, whose new single revolves around the idea of fighting, despite difficult odds. That could be tough for any regular person, or even harder for those involved in the military. That’s why their new single is called “Soldier On,” which you will be able to find on all streaming platforms now. There is a video as well that you can see here.
Four
Up next will be Hamilton-based group, Golden Feather with their full-length live album. The record is called Welcome\\Release and it was recorded live at Bridgeworks in 2022. It’s available everywhere on all streaming platforms thanks to Sonic Unyon and captures a key stage in the band’s development and growth. This artistic record can be heard in the article here.
Three
Making our way into this week’s top three, it’s going to include Canadian country band River Town Saints, who have unveiled their highly anticipated new single, “She Got That” to all your preferred streaming platforms. This will mark the band’s first release under Sakamoto Music and Warner Music Canada. Listen to “She Got That” and read our interview with the band here.
Two
Moving on to the top two, I’d like to introduce to you Kele Fleming from British Columbia. The talented singer/songwriter and advocate for nature, shares the new version of “Vanishing Of Bees.” Which now is available as the “Set Me Free Remix” by Atlas To Earth. You can find it on all the streaming platforms that you’re listening to these days. This re-release comes just in time for World Bee Day, celebrating all that bees do. Check out our post about the remix and the video that accompanies it, here.
BONUS – Canadian Beats Passport
Now for this week’s bonus recommendation, it’s going to include two-time Grammy award-nominated and multi-platinum songwriter, producer, and artist. It’s K.Flay, who has unveiled her new single, “Shy” off of her studio album untitled MONO. You better keep an eye out for that coming out on September 15, but you can enjoy the new video in our article, here.
One
Now it’s time for my final recommendation all the way from Oshawa. We have alt-rockers Dizzy sharing the new single “Close,” which is also going to be accompanied by a brand-new music video. The new single captures the cycle of both comfort and loss that exists when maintaining long-term friendships. You know, throughout all of life’s triumphs and complications. This is the fourth single from the upcoming DIZZY LP, check out our article here.
Those are gonna be your recommendations from me. They are called Zach’s Picks Of The Week and you can find them in this post but across our website, as well.
