Award-winning country artist Tyler Joe Miller shares his anticipated acoustic EP The Band’s Packed Up via MDM Recordings Inc. / Universal Music Canada. The collection, comprised of three songs, offers up Miller’s talents as a songwriter and emphasizes the versatility of his vocals in a stripped-back capacity. Miller has been exploring the depth of his artistry over the last few months, sharing live-recorded videos of covers and original songs with his fans, continuously proving his ability to capture an audience’s attention with a raw effortlessness. The latest offering from the multiple CCMA Award-nominated artist highlights his unique ability to take a simple topic and capture a meaningful story behind it, offering a brief glimpse into where his music is headed.
About his new EP, Miller shares
“While putting this EP together I wanted to show a different side of myself while highlighting my songwriting. We chose a few songs of mine that we wanted to release but intentionally wanted to really highlight the story behind the song and capture an aspect of my live show where I perform a couple of songs acoustically. We thought it would be interesting to record all of my tracks acoustically with just acoustic and steel guitar, keyboard, and fiddle and just let the songs tell their own stories in the most authentic way.”
